Auction Info for Joey
A dear friend of mine recently sold a beautiful wonderful sheltie to a show/breeding home only to have him returned to her with two shattered hips. We are glad to say that we have found a vet willing to perform the needed surgeries to repair his hips for half price but badly need the money to do these surgeries. So I have started up a webpage off my own webpage to run a chinese auction and a place to go to give donations. We are very happy to say that we have extended out the amount of time to receive donations until 10-01-05 and will take bids until 12-01-05.
We have three items up for auction now and one of those items is a beautiful 48 star antique flag in flawless condition. We know this and the other items should be very wonderful to have and make the donation easier. We will accept items for auciton until October and welcome all forms of items and will gladly post information on the persons making the donation. Looking For....
Islewind is looking for a bifactored (sable or black) male to breed Lisette to (Pictured above). She is white factored and our preference for her first litter would be a non-white factored male with full testing complete and copies for our records. She is 14" dead on. She is pictured above on the left as of August 1, 2005 at just under 2 years of age (blowing coat) and on the right at 8 months in full puppy bloom. Her father is pictured below in a separate ad. Testing of Lisette is now in progress as she is due in heat again by October. Her father is a size controller and she maybe as well.
After her litter Lisette will be heading for the rings in Ontario to achieve her Canadian Ch. Lisette has movement, expression and a correct coat. Full correct dentition as well.
We are looking for a stud dog within driving distance (up to 8 hours) of Foxboro, ON as we do not ship and will journey to the location for the breeding staying locally (hotel) for up to 4 days. Her pedigree includes:
Banchory, Dundee, Macdega, Killybeg (Canadian) and a few others. Preference will be given to dogs with similar pedigrees. Breeding fee or full stud fee will depend on dog chosen.

Knight is the father of Lisette in the above ad. He has sired only 2 litters to date and not a single puppy over 15.25" in either litter. His smallest offspring are 14". One of his sons is now pointed in Canada and expected to finish this coming month. Knight's lines include many obedience/agility dogs. Knight when younger could easily have competed in these as well as his Canadian Ch, if I hadn't been recovering from a broken ankle at the time. He achieved a Major Reserve during his short US campaign.
Knight is a 3/4 brother to BISS Can Ch Lochlana Silver Ghost.
Knight was born in December 1997. His line has longevity in age and breeding capacity (grandfather sired last litter at 15.5 years of age) and size control. He is OFA Fair, eyes normal, vWD Clear and thyroid Normal. He is very very old Canadian lines with some Banchory and POW back there. He does seem to be producing the 'Banchory look' in all his offspring.
He is being offered to the first 5 reputable breeders at a fee of $200 CAD or US for a full litter. We would like to see some of his furkids elsewhere and are beyond pleased with the two litters he's produced for us. This $200 guarantees at least 2 live puppies!
If you might be interested in using Knight please feel free to contact us. First 5 reputable breeders get to use him for this discounted fee. Our reasoning for this is that he is the absolute last of his line in the East and only one other we know about in BC. We don't want to loose this pedigree and others might feel the same. Islewind intends to breed him to up to 3 bitches of our own this coming year, but, others might like the old lines while still here!
Additional info: We recently acquired 2 grand-offspring of Rorralore Sportin' Chance here and absolutely know that they are the last of that line that close. We are trying to preserve these oldlines before they are gone.
